With the search function the user can list comparable item results with images and prices, which can then be selected and added to the shopping cart. To generate these search results, the corresponding articles must be created in the system in the form of static catalogs. For this purpose, the supplier and Sixt have two different processing options, which we would like to explain in more detail below. This file can be uploaded and submitted by the supplier in the Coupa Supplier Portal or sent to Sixt by e-mail. In the first case, the catalog is transmitted electronically by the supplier to the Sixt Coupa system and must be accepted by the responsible buyer. In the second case, a Sixt employee uploads the catalog to Coupa and publishes it. In both cases, the catalog and contract are linked at article level. Here the requestor in the procurement process is forwarded from the Coupa instance of Sixt to the supplier\u2019s website \u2013 thus the user is in the supplier\u2019s online shop. Here the requestor finds a contractually agreed range of products to choose from, including all negotiated prices. After the requestor has placed the needed products or services in the shopping cart, he or she is returned to the Sixt Coupa instance when checking out. Here the order can be completed. This connection method is suitable for suppliers with a very large number of articles (more than 100 articles). However, we would like to point out that the articles of a Punchout catalog are not directly listed in the search results of Coupa.
